Practicing Following A Path

There's much one encounters when following a path. There are interesting and new challenges each time I pick up the paint brush. I actually lost the path a few times, but kept going. The landscape got built up from a flat, almost valley-like terrain to a hilly one.  Hmmm..sorta like making things bigger than they really are? Well, I decided to post this as a practice piece. I learned a lot about paths-and other things.

I really like this drawing. It is so emotive. It feels like a place that a story should be taking place- maybe a story from a Kafka novel. It's great

Yes, I agree with Michele. I'm curious. Who will be stepping onto this path any minute? Where does it begin and end? What secrets will the trees sway and bend to hear? Where does the path lead? Challenges seem to love curiosity, practice, losing the path. Such an interesting drawing!

beautiful drawing ondge, will someone come from the far end of the path? or from the front of the picture? its mysterious. also interests me your comment about making things bigger than they appear(after drawing class structure today making things BIG)...even though you made this painting before todays structure!
